Drug description
Cialis is a prescription drug taken orally for the treatment of impotence in men.
Cialis is a new generation impotence treatment that helps men get erections faster than most other impotence drugs. Its activation time is just 30 minutes.
If you don't experience any results the first time you try Cialis, your doctor may advice you to increase your dose to 20 mg. For most men however the common startup dose is just 10 mg at least half an hour minutes before sexual activity. Never take double dose of Cialis, only your doctor may increase or decrease your dose depending on your reaction to the drug.
Erectile dysfunction (impotence) is a condition when the penis does not become hard and does not expand when a man is sexually stimulated, or when he cannot maintain an erection for a long time. A man who has trouble getting and maintaining an erection should necessarily contact a doctor for help. Your doctor will ascertain the origin of the sexual dysfunction ( it may be caused by either psychological or physiological factors).
Cialis does not:
- boosts a male sexual desire
- protect a man or his partner from diseases transmitted sexually, including HIV
- serve as a birth control medication
Cialis is intended for men only.

Side Effects
In clinical trials Cialis has been used in about 15,000 men and approximately 8 million men worldwide in the post-approval period of time. The most common side effects experienced while using Cialis are flushing, indigestion, headache, back pain, muscle aches, and nasal congestion. These side effects happen due to the ability of PDE5 inhibitor to cause blood vessels to widen and relax. They are usually passed in a few hours. Only back pain and muscle tightness may last longer (12 to 24 hours after taking the drug). These symptoms usually pass away in two days.
