What is Kamagra used for?
Kamagra is an effective medicine used for the treatment of erection problems.
What should I inform my health care provider about before starting this medicine?
You should inform your doctor if any condition listed below appolies to you:
- deformity of the penis (Peyronie’s disease),
- benign prostatic hypertrophy
- cancer
- bleeding disorder
- diabetes
- stomachache
- heart-related problems, angina, hypertension or hypotension, a history of heart attack
- high cholesterol levels
- kidney disease
- sickle cell
- ulcer
- stroke
- liver disease
- vision problems
- an unusual or allergic reaction to any ingredient in Kamagra
How is Kamagra taken?
Kamagra tablets are taken by mouth. Stick to the directions on the instruction label. Kamagra is usually taken one hour before sexual intercourse. You should not take Kamagra more frequent than once per day. The tablet is to be swallowed whole with some water. Never take extra dose.
What drugs should not be used with Kamagra?
Kamagra is not recommended to be taken with the following medicines:
- Drugs containing nitroglycerin (they are usually used for the heart or chest pain treatment).
- alpha blockers (they are used for treating hypertension or an enlarged prostate).
- bosentan
- drugs used for treating seizures (phenobarbital, phenytoin, and carbamazepine)
- certain medicines used for fungous infections(ketoconazole, fluconazole, voriconazole, etc.)
- drugs used for the treatment of HIV infection or AIDS
- cisapride
- diltiazem
- cimetidine
- erythromycin
- clarithromycin
- mibefradil
- monoamine oxidase inhibitors
- nitroprusside
- rifampin
- quinidine
- rifabutin
- certain medicine for treating depression or anxiety (nefazodone, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine,etc.)
- verapamil
Important:
Do not take doses of Kamagra higher than 25 mg a day within four hours of taking alpha blockers, such as terazosin, prazosin, doxazosin, or alfuzosin.
Let your doctor know about all other medicines you are currently taking, including nutritional supplements or herbal products before starting to use Kamagra Also inform your doctor if you frequently use drinks containing caffeine or alcohol, if you are a heavy smoker, or if you use poppers(recreational drugs). These may interfere with the way Kamagra works.
What side effects may cause Kamagra?
Serious side effects that you should report to your doctor right away are the following:
- hearing changes such as total loss of hearing or ringing in ears
- vision problems such as loss of vision, poor vision, sensitivity of an eye to light, inability to distinguish the difference between blue and green, or seeing objects in blue
- breath shortness
- palpitations
- prolonged erection
- rash, itching
Side effects that unlikely to represent serious threat to your health are the following ones:
- Stomach disorder
- dizziness
- diarrhea
- headache
- flushing
- blocked nose
- lightheadedness
