What is Brand Cialis?

Brand Cialis is an oral treatment for erectile dysfunction. The active ingredient in Brand Cialis is Tadalafil which is formulated in an almond-shaped, film-coated tablet available in doses of 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 20mg.

Drug Uses

Brand Cialis is available only on prescription from a doctor. This drug is for use by men only. The active ingredient, Tadalafil, works by relaxing muscles, thereby increasing blood flow to the penis. This enables a man to achieve an erection during sexual arousal, and to maintain it long enough for successful sexual intercourse.

Dosage

Always use Brand Cialis as prescribed by a doctor. The usual starting dose is 10mg to be taken before sexual activity. Depending on individual tolerance and effectiveness, a doctor may increase the dosage to a maximum of 20mg, or a minimum of 5mg. The effects of Brand Cialis can last for up to 36 hours. Do not take more than one dose of Brand Cialis per day.

Missed Dose

Because Brand Cialis is used when required, this does not apply.

Precautions

Men who are at risk of heart attack may not be able to engage in sexual activity, and therefore cannot use Brand Cialis. If you have a history of heart-related problems you will need to discuss the risks of using Brand Cialis with your doctor.

Men who are using nitrates to treat heart-related conditions should not use Brand Cialis without discussing the potential dangers and risks with a doctor. If Brand Cialis is prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction, the patient will require regular check-ups by a doctor.

Men who experience chest pain after using Brand Cialis should immediately contact a doctor.

Men who are using alpha-blockers should use Brand Cialis with caution.

Brand Cialis should not be used by men who have experienced any of the following medical conditions:

Stroke within six months, uncontrolled arrhythmia, uncontrolled low blood pressure (90/50), uncontrolled high blood pressure (170/100), heart failure within the last six months, myocardial infarction within the past three months, unstable angina, or angina that has occurred during sexual intercourse.

Rare reports of prolonged erection after using Brand Cialis have been reported. In the event of this occurring, a doctor should be contacted immediately as erections lasting more than four hours can cause serious damage to the penis and may even result in permanent impotence.

Men who have retinitis pigmentosa (a genetic eye condition) should use Brand Cialis with extreme caution.

Before prescribing Brand Cialis, your doctor will need to have a full knowledge of your medical history, and details about any other medications you are using.

While using Brand Cialis, do not use any other medication to treat erectile dysfunction.

Limit your intake of alcohol while using Brand Cialis. Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol while using Brand Cialis can cause dizziness, increased heart rate and a serious drop in blood pressure.

Side-effects

Side-effects can include stomach pain, acid reflux, urinary tract infection, bronchitis, painful limbs, nasal congestion, diarrhea, coughing, muscle pain, flu, flushing, respiratory infection, back pain, cold and/or sore throat, headache, or heartburn. These side-effects are usually temporary and should disappear quickly. However, if these or any other uncomfortable symptoms persist while using Brand Cialis, contact a doctor immediately.

Overdose

If overdose with Brand Cialis is suspected, get medical assistance immediately.

Storage

Brand Cialis should be kept in a cool, dry place away from sun and moisture.
